Optical Filters

Newport's Franklin facility has been supplying Corion® brand optical filters since 1967. With the acquisition of Spectra-Physics Lasers and Photonics which included the Franklin coating facility, Newport significantly expanded its thin-film capabilities, broadening the portfolio of technologies that support Newport's leadership as the premier photonics solutions provider.

We supply optical filters to OEM manufacturers of instruments such as DNA analyzers, laser rangefinders, environmental monitors, clinical chemistry analyzers and many more. Our products include bandpass, calibration, dichroic, edge, fluorescence, neutral density, and notch filters, as well as beamsplitters, anti-reflection, conformal, and gain-equalization coatings. We offer catalog versions of most of these products.
