The M-DJP-1, Double-Jointed Utility Post, allows positioning flexibility for post mounting of various mechanical and optical devices. It has two ball-and-socket arms, each having 180-degree rotation, to provide a full 360 degrees of angular positioning. A single locking knob secures the double-jointed post in position. The M-DJP-1 has the same mounting thread configuration as Newport's standard SP-series 12.7-mm diameter posts, i.e. M4 on one end and M6 on the other. This enables it to be used with all of the 12.7-mm post accessories such as post holders, clamps, and spacers. The M-DJP-1 is an excellent, low-cost accessory for the lab for those times when you need non-standard mounting options for your research or production setup.
