The CAFBS10 IR Beamspliter is a 50.8 mm diameter, 2.00 mm thick Calcium Fluoride beamsplitter with 50/50 reflection/transmission ratio optimized for45° angle of incidence. This beamsplitter is designed for broadband infrared applications covering spectral range from 2 µm to 8 µm. The back surface of the beamsplitter has a 3 arc minutes wedge to reduce undesired interference effects caused by the back reflections from both surfaces of the optics.
